Tilt Merge
Tilt Merge puts a fresh spin on number-matching puzzles by combining careful placement, chain reactions, and a powerful board-shifting mechanic. Developed by Chorelet, the game challenges you to drop numbered blocks into five columns, watching for neighbouring values that can combine and double. When a new block lands beside two or even three matching blocks, the entire group can merge for a larger score, while successful combinations can trigger further chain reactions.
Strategic Block Placement
Every drop in Tilt Merge requires a little planning. Choose the column where the displayed block will have the greatest impact, then look ahead for possible merges and future combinations. The board can quickly become crowded, so arranging numbers with later moves in mind is essential when trying to build a high score. There is no timer forcing you to rush, allowing you to study the available positions and make deliberate decisions.
The Tilt Mechanic
The defining feature is the ability to tilt the entire board. Swipe left or right, or use the TILT controls, and every row slides toward the selected wall. This extra move can completely change the position of your blocks, bring matching numbers together, or create opportunities that were previously out of reach. Tilt charges are limited, however, and they refill through merging, making each use an important strategic choice rather than a move to spend without thought.
Smash and Special Decisions
When a single block is causing trouble, the SMASH button offers another way to reshape the board. Activate SMASH and select one block to remove it, giving you a chance to clear an awkward position before it prevents useful combinations. Combining this option with careful drops and well-timed tilts creates several ways to manage a crowded board and keep a promising run alive.
Endless Scores and Daily Challenges
Tilt Merge supports an endless mode where the goal is to keep merging and push your personal best as far as possible. For a more structured challenge, the daily mode gives everyone the same sequence of blocks across 60 drops. Because the available pieces are shared, success depends on how effectively you plan placements, use your limited tilts, and take advantage of every possible chain.
Controls and Puzzle Flow
The controls are simple enough to keep the focus on the numbers and the board. Tap or click a column to place the current block, while swiping horizontally shifts the rows. Keyboard players can use the arrow keys or number keys 1 through 5 to select columns, Space to drop a block, Q and E to tilt the board, and P to open the menu. With its combination of number merging, tactical movement, and limited special actions, Tilt Merge offers a steadily evolving puzzle where every placement can influence the next chain.
