Steel Front

Take control of tanks and fighter planes on the battlefield as Steel Front, developed by DDD6767, puts you in the heart of WWII combat.

Steel Front delivers an immersive 3D World War II experience where every encounter puts you in the middle of a dangerous and fast-moving battlefield. Step into the role of an infantry soldier, move through contested areas, and fight your way through historical campaigns while staying alert to enemy positions and incoming fire. The action combines shooting, movement, vehicles, and tactical decisions, giving each battle a sense of scale and variety. Whether you prefer to play on foot or take control of powerful military machines, the battlefield constantly demands quick reactions and careful positioning. Developed by DDD6767, Steel Front puts you directly into intense combat with a focus on realistic ballistics and dynamic encounters.

Fight Across the Battlefield

As an infantry soldier, you can move with WASD, sprint with Shift, jump with Space, and aim and fire using the mouse. Reloading with R and switching between weapons with the number keys let you adapt quickly when the situation changes. The E key also allows you to interact with objects and enter available vehicles, making it possible to transition from infantry combat to larger-scale warfare without leaving the action. Every advance across the battlefield can expose you to new threats, so movement and awareness are just as important as accurate shooting.

Command Tanks and Military Vehicles

Steel Front expands the combat beyond infantry encounters by letting you take control of heavy tanks and other vehicles. Once behind the controls, WASD handles movement while the mouse lets you aim the turret and LMB fires the main weapon. You can enter or leave vehicles with E, giving you the flexibility to change your approach during a battle. Tanks add weight and firepower to the experience, allowing you to confront enemy forces from a completely different perspective while navigating dangerous battlefield terrain.

Take to the Skies

The war can also be fought from above by taking control of fighter aircraft. Aircraft controls allow you to manage pitch and roll with WASD, steer with Q and E, and aim your weapons with the mouse. LMB fires while RMB or B can be used to release bombs against targets below. Flying over active combat zones creates a faster and more open style of play, requiring you to control the aircraft while searching for suitable targets and avoiding danger. The ability to move between ground and aerial combat gives the battlefield a broader sense of scale.

Dynamic Combat and Tactical Choices

The combination of infantry, tanks, aircraft, and artillery creates opportunities to approach battles in different ways. Mortars can provide bombardment support, while anti-aircraft guns can be used to engage aircraft overhead. Realistic ballistics make positioning and aiming important, while dynamic combat keeps encounters unpredictable as the battle develops around you. Instead of relying on a single weapon or strategy, you can adapt to the situation and choose the role that best suits the current fight.

Play on PC or Mobile

Steel Front is designed to make its battlefield action accessible across different control setups. On PC, the keyboard and mouse provide precise movement, aiming, weapon switching, and vehicle control. On mobile devices, a left joystick handles movement while dragging on the right side of the screen controls aiming, with on-screen buttons available for shooting, reloading, and sprinting. This allows you to experience the World War II battles online using the control method that feels most comfortable.

With large-scale battles, multiple combat roles, powerful vehicles, aircraft, and tactical shooting encounters, Steel Front offers a varied military experience for players who enjoy action on land and in the air. Every campaign gives you opportunities to switch between infantry combat and machinery, while the combination of realistic ballistics and dynamic battlefield situations keeps the fighting active from one encounter to the next.
