Explore the infected streets, search for useful items, and keep moving as you try to build a high score while staying alive. You can play free online and choose between fighting on foot or using vehicles to crush zombies and escape dangerous situations.

Survive the Zombie Infestation

Every action can make noise and draw attention. Shooting your weapon or getting into a car alerts nearby zombies, causing them to chase you through the town. Search the ground and destroy houses to find ammunition, weapons, and other useful items. With enemies constantly closing in, careful movement and quick decisions are essential as you clear the streets and look for better ways to survive.

Build and Upgrade Your Defenses

Survival is not only about shooting. Shootup.io lets you construct a base and place buildings to create a stronger position against the undead. For every 100 zombies you eliminate, you can unlock an upgrade or a new building, giving you more options as the battle continues. Bonus items, turrets, and landmines can help turn an exposed area into a useful defensive position when the zombie hordes become overwhelming.

Vehicles and Fast-Paced Action

Vehicles provide another way to deal with the infestation, allowing you to run over zombies and move quickly around the map. If your car becomes stuck, use the Shift key to drift and get it moving again. Managing your vehicle alongside your weapons adds another layer to the survival experience, especially when a large group of zombies is following your trail.

Multiplayer Survival

Made by LapaMauve, Shootup.io also gives you the option to team up with friends or compete against other survivors. Share the team link with your friends to join forces and face the infected town together. Cooperation can make it easier to handle large groups of zombies, while encounters with other survivors can turn the struggle for a high score into a more competitive battle.

Controls and Progression

Move with W, A, S, D or the arrow keys, and use the left mouse button to shoot. The Space key handles interactions, while Shift lets you run or drift while driving. Change weapons with the number keys, by clicking the weapon, or with the mouse wheel. Buildings can be changed by clicking their icons, and you can place a building with the right mouse button or B. As you collect resources, eliminate zombies, unlock new options, and improve your defenses, each run becomes a new attempt to survive longer and push your score higher.
